The hall closet assaults you every time you open it, you haven’t seen the bottom of your laundry hamper in weeks, and yesterday you noticed a dust ball behind the couch that resembles a small but vicious chinchilla. It’s time for a bit of an afternoon cleaning spree. If you’re anything like me, you require tunes to help make it through your domestic servitude.
Pop over to stereomood, and select a tag like “spring cleaning” or “work” and roll up your sleeves.
You’re feeling “bohemian” or “lost in thought” or “busy as a bee” (these are three of my constant states of being,) so pick from any one of the pre-constructed playlists, and as they play, choose to add tracks or artists you discover to your own personal page. Create your own moods, activities and playlists. Stereomood has been in beta mode for the last year or so, but there are no major kinks besides having to skip over a few “song not found” errors.
Oh, and fellas, the “make love” tag is fantastic for those evenings where the vino and titillating conversation aren’t quite enough. Maybe that’s every night for you and music won’t help much. Worth a shot.
Kudos to @meladramatic for the link share.
